Love puts the world
In the palm of my hand.
To light with a touch.
To rest with a blink.
Once my vision whirled
I soared, my eyes panned.
The world so small, so much
Possibility clogged the sink.
And so imagination swirled.
Overflowed the land.
My heart skipped double dutch.
So much to do, to think!
But a frame is but a square
Vain in my hands,
If one face fills to brink.
Inspiration: Amelia's most recent poem, "Decisions". :) Though I kind of go off on a tangent with my main point.
So much to say, yet at a loss for words.

I love it!! And I'm honored that you got inspiration for it from one of my poems! :D It really captures the overwhelming feeling of so much inspiration to do things. I've felt so many times that I just long to change the world somehow and I feel like I can do it, but then we realize that it's harder than we think. We're only one person. I love how your poem seems to come to that conclusion at the end. There's the soaring inspiration and then realizing, "Wait... I know I can do this, but where do I start?" and that puts an end to it all. Wonderful job!!! :D
