We live in a forever; It falls
in a bell jar- capped,
sealed with maybes, have nots
Should haves- little lights, burning
in long pillars of faith.
Waxing, never waning
from the sunken clarity,
We are but born, and donning
The finest we could hope for.
Beautiful, as we wait-
Smiles like spiders, climbing up
up like eternal baby saplings- rich, but bent
Where the world curves in.
Magic, it seems- magic to uncap,
To look straight ahead
in a world of ruthless angling,
Moving windows and tipping walls,
To break this, somehow, as it falls.
So much to say, yet at a loss for words.

Living
Perhaps it's a highway,
With many burns and crashes?
A free open road,
Paved with grief and ashes?
I say it's a labyrinth.
Which no one can avoid.
A maze we have to start at birth,
But enter map devoid.
We are meant to bump,
Stray off the beaten track.
When we see our dead ends,
We stumble our way back.
Perhaps there's a certain route,
Our destinies and fate.
But we never truly know,
Until it's far too late.
With many burns and crashes?
A free open road,
Paved with grief and ashes?
I say it's a labyrinth.
Which no one can avoid.
A maze we have to start at birth,
But enter map devoid.
We are meant to bump,
Stray off the beaten track.
When we see our dead ends,
We stumble our way back.
Perhaps there's a certain route,
Our destinies and fate.
But we never truly know,
Until it's far too late.
